GDBUtil Database connections

This page explains when and how many database connections are created.

• Each root node creates one database connection (when opened). This connection is used only by the child branches of this root node. A connection is used by:
  • Each content view
  • Each chart view

• Each database console created uses its own database connection.

• Each export view uses its own database connection.

When creating a database connection auto commit is set to false.
